SIZING INSTRCUTIONS

Measure around your palm (excluding your thumb) & find your measurement on the sizing chart below. Select the size that coincides with your measurement on the chart.  Please measure accurately, as we pre-trace the beaver-back portions for you.

17.5 cm: Size 0

19.0 cm: Size  1

20.5 cm: Size  2

22.0 cm: Size  3

23.5 cm: Size  4

25.0 cm: Size  5

Our felted wool liners are thick, soft, and warm, offering a strong balance of insulation and breathability for all-day comfort. They work with natural materials to wick moisture and keep warm & hands dry in cold conditions.

ABOUT OUR BEAVER PELTS

Beaver fur is a dense, luxuriously soft, and naturally warm material sourced from within Canada. It adds exceptional insulation without reducing dexterity, keeping your hands warm while allowing full movement.

Each DIY Kit Includes all items necessary to make your own natural hide mittens. You will receive;

• Beaver & Buckskin instruction book & pattern pack
• ~ 5 sq. ft. of natural hide for your outer mitten palms (type/colour of your choice)
• Pre-cut beaver pelt for your outer mitten thumbs/backs
• ~ 4 sq. ft. of wool for the inner mitten (type/colour of your choice)
• ~ 9 metres of yarn
• 1 darning needle
• ~ 9 metres of artificial sinew
• 2 Glover’s Needles (aka leather needles)
• 2 adjustable straps & buckles
