International Shipping Policy & Information

International Shipping

We greatly appreciate your business, and are able to ship our products worldwide at the best rates available via UPS or Canada Post. In our experience shipping overseas has a bit higher incident rate than within North America, where packages are rejected or held up in customs, sorting facilities, or experience unexplained delays in delivery. Although we do attempt to assist in rectifying these situations, parcels that encounter problems overseas are not the responsibility of LOTN Outfitters.

International Regulations Disclaimer

As much as we would love to, there is no way for us to be aware of all local government regulations regarding importing goods into your country, province, state, municipality, etc.  It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that our products can be imported into your area before ordering.  If in doubt, please contact your local border services, or import office and describe the product you are looking to import.  We are not responsible for parcels which are confiscated/destroyed or returned due to import policies or non-delivery for other reasons outside our control.

Tax & Duty

Please be aware that import taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer. So please check your countries current import tax/duty policy and "de-minimis" threshold value. You can check the possible import tax and duties on Canadian-made products for your country using online tax/duty calculators, such as Simple Duty or Global Post. More detailed information on import tax and duties on  for your country is commonly available on you nations customs/border services website.

** U.S. CUSTOMERSThe former duty-free "de-minimis" exemption for import tax and duty on goods valued funder $800 USD is no longer in effect. We have taken steps to minimize the impact on shipments to the U.S. We will include a CUSMA Certificate of Origin with each shipment, and thus import duties should not be applied. Additionally we have limited the U.S. shipping options to those in which "Brokerage Fees May Be Included" (see details here).
Thus far, the taxes, duties, and fees charged by the US border agency and the international carriers has varied considerably, from virtually zero to over $100 USD. We are working with our shipping service to gain a better understanding of the new U.S. import rules and fee structure, and will continue to try to provide the lowest cost solutions for our customers**
