Stove Hearth

I am so glad I bought the stove hearth! It has been very cold on the last couple of trips (and the stove was running long and hot: -30's deg C ) there was snow melt back around the perimeter of the hearth, but not where the mat was! I'm considering buying another one to have a double wide area that is insulated from the inevitable melt-back that occurs on the long sides of the stove.
